Ride on our beautifully restored 1896 trolley car on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, from Saturday May 24 until Sunday October 26, 2014. Hours are 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. In July and August, the museum will also be open Mondays from 1pm to 5pm.
At the Shelburne Falls Trolley Museum we have many Interactive History Exhibits, including:
* operating electric and wooden toy trains
* a caboose that can be explored, including climbing into the cupola
* a pump car that older children and adults can take a ride on, helping the museum volunteer to power it along, and, of course,
* our 116 year old beautifully-restored trolley car, built in Springfield in 1896, on which we give rides, including an interpretive talk on the history of the car and how it related to Shelburne Falls and the surrounding towns, the connection to the Bridge of Flowers, and a bit about how it was saved and restored.
